Dark and Bright

There are two sides
of me,
One dark
one bright,
One negative
one positive,

The dark
it goes
deep to the core
into the night
into my mind,

The dark
it distorts
my thoughts,
It clouds
the right
and brightens
the wrong,

The bright
it shines
throughout my being
into the day
into my soul,

THe bright
it clears
my thoughts
it shows
the right
and hides
the wrong,

It’s a battle
inside
my mind,
A battle
that each day
is fought,

Who will win,
The good,
The bad,

Who will effect me,
Good
or
Evil.
